Homemade Cleaning Solutions

A clean house not only entices people, but at the same time, it keeps health problems from getting worse. Therefore, house cleaning should be regarded as something significant in our daily lives. If you practice cleaning, such as vacuuming on a regular basis, then, work won't be that hard at all. House cleaning includes upholstery cleaning, kitchen cleaning, floor cleaning and many more. The home also needs proper care to ensure its residents live in a safe place. To complement chores, here are some of the best homemade cleaning solutions that you can use to see better results.

?Vinegar One of the easy and natural solutions used for home cleaning is white vinegar. Keeping a big gallon of white vinegar available at home, would be useful in so many ways. You can simply mix it with water and utilize it for cleaning tiled walls and flooring. It can even be used in wood flooring and carpet cleaning. This solution will help in getting rid of a smelly refrigerator or washing machine. You could also use this to clean your hands after cutting an onion to take away its smell. To effectively clean glass surfaces, simply mix equal parts of vinegar and water.

Baking Soda Baking soda is also one of the useful agents for cleaning. This can be utilized in clearing a clogged drainpipe. Do this by pouring baking soda and a cup of salt all together in the pipe. Leave it for 30 minutes then pour water. In terms of stains, just mix white vinegar with equal amounts of baking soda. You can also clean wooden window frames and furniture by mixing toothpaste and baking soda.

?Hydrogen Peroxide One cleaning tip using hydrogen peroxide is to use it on white surfaces only, such as in bathroom tiles, white sinks, bathtubs and white flooring. The reason behind this is that hydrogen peroxide usually changes the color of a surface. ?

?Dishwashing Detergents In terms of cleaning your kitchen, it is best to choose cleaning detergents. You can do this by mixing detergent with water to be able to make a solution. Apply it directly to the surface using a sponge then rub the stained area and rinse with water. However, frequent use of soap will create built-up residue that will hinder its shine. It is advisable to try using lukewarm water first while rubbing the area with a sponge. If the area has been successfully cleaned entirely, then there's no need to use detergent at all.

?Lemon Juice Lemon juice is good in removing very tough stains. It is also a good agent in removing rust stains. It can be utilized in cleaning dirty white tiles, faucets and dishes. Start by slicing a piece of lemon and rub it gently on the surface that needs to be cleaned. Leave it for 30 minutes then wash with cold water. This can be used for washing clothes too. If you want to have whiter clothes then go for lemon juice.
